Sibling Support Group

A unique partnership with Children First and Family Respite Services providing staffing support and space for the group generously provided at no cost by Maryvale Child and Adolescent Services. It is an opportunity for siblings of children who have special needs to connect with other siblings via monthly fun and lively activity based sessions including games, crafts and snack. An annual celebration dinner includes parents and participants. Feedback from children and youth attending has been very positive with statements such as “I appreciate coming to the group knowing I’m not the only one with a brother who is different.”
