COPEing with Toddler Behaviour

This is a course of interest to parents of 12- to 36-month-old children who may be presenting with challenging behaviours. This group service is specially designed for parents who wish to learn about encouraging and nurturing a good relationship with their toddler, use behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour, and share experiences and ideas with other parents. The course runs once a week for eight weeks and each session is two hours long. It is being offered free of charge at various community locations, including local Ontario Early Years Centres. Child minding may be available on-site. The course is run by professional staff from Children First, often in collaboration with other service providers in our community. This course can improve your parenting knowledge and reduce the stress you feel as a parent.
