All successful applicants for family service positions must hold and maintain as a condition of employment, a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and have access to a personal vehicle. A satisfactory criminal reference check is required for all positions.
Children First employs the following professionals:
- Administrative Assistants Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a Community College Office Administration program, and minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
- Resource Consultants Minimum Qualifications: B.A. in social service or education field and/or community college diploma (ECE, CYW), previous experience working with children from birth to age six with developmental delays and psychosocial challenges.
- Social Workers Minimum Qualifications: M.SW, registered or eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- Psychologists Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in clinical, developmental or child clinical psychology from a recognized program, registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Occupational Therapists Minimum Qualifications: M.O.T. or equivalent, CAOT Certification, registered or eligible for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Speech-Language Pathologists Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree, registered or eligible for registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
